Abstract
In the article surgical problems of modern treatment of empyema of pleura and pyopneumothorax are considered. The results of treatment of 250 patients with such a pathology are presented. A great efficiency of miniinvasive vs. traditional methods of interventions considers the reduction of operation injuries and decrease in the duration of hospital treatment.
