THE PROBLEM OF TRUTH IN MODERN SOCIETY

The article discusses the changes in relation to the truth in connection with the transformation of the social structure. The author shows that the long period of the construction of truth in the rank of the highest value ends. In modern society the truth is controversial. The reasons for this are: complexity of world problems in a differentiated understanding of the world through competing types of knowledge, difficulty with the appropriate validation criteria for validity. A possible way out of the situation the author sees in the harmonious combination of different types and methods of learning.
