Abstract

The paper presents the classification of corn according to different criteria, the dependence of physical-mechanical characteristics of the grain and cobs from a variety of factors. The results obtained allowed to conclude that the physico-mechanical characteristics of grain and ears of corn are highly variable both in varieties and within the same grade.
