The indicators in the system of strategic planning is a tool of government, and any tool is effective if it works on the ultimate goal of management. Thus, the indicators should reflect the underlying purpose of the development of the state. However, it is difficult to work with set of indicators, in this regard in the article the blocks of indicators for strategies, forecasts and monitoring of strategic planning documents at regional and industrial practice: innovation, financial, economic, environmental, blocks, block indicators for natural resources, quality of life (social unit), national security, quality of public administration.
