GLOBAL CHALLENGES IN THE ASSESSMENT OF THE BELARUSIAN AND RUSSIAN POLITICAL ANALYSTS

In this article we are talking about the discussions of the Belarusian and Russian scientists in may 2016 at the international scientific-practical conference "Belarusian political science: variety in unity" modern global challenges. These powers include: globalization and regionalization, national self-determination and the formation of national identity, the choice of development strategy and world order, mediatization and virtualization of politics, the choice of a slow pace of reforms or risk of accelerated development, threats to national security and terrorism. In the circumstances it is necessary to pay special attention to the development of intercultural, educational, scientific, economic, etc. cooperation of the CIS countries, the preservation of the memory about the Soviet past and building a shared picture of the future.
