PREREQUISITES FOR THE TRANSITION TO A SOCIETY WITHOUT CASH

The paper discusses different types of non-cash money. Special attention is paid to the emergence of electronic wallets and crypto currencies. The nature of each form of non-cash forms of payment, their advantages and disadvantages, including the advantages over cash. Identified viable prospects and incentives/disincentives" full displacement of cash in the U.S. dollar and the Euro in the European Union, "non-cash" currency. Also the tendencies in the Russian economy to replace cash, non-cash. Of the assumptions about the consequences of a society without cash, as well as possible ways to achieve this goal.
