EVALUATION OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE APPLICATION OF COAL-WATER FUEL AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO COAL

The aim of the article is to evaluate the efficiency of coal-water fuel (CWF) as an alternative to hard coal. The article identified and substantiated the main advantages of coal combustion in the form of CWF compared with layer combustion. The calculations of the parameters of the CWF and coal combustion (fuel consumption, emissions of pollutants and combustion calorimeter temperature) and then comparing them. The results can be the basis for selection of the most promising ways of burning coal - in solid form or in the form of CWF.
