Abstract
The paradigm shift in education marked the transition from “knowledge-based” system that centered around acquisition and transfer of scientific knowledge to the new educational system typical of postindustrial information-oriented society that suggests abandoning the understanding of education as the process of gaining “predefined” knowledge. Modern society asks for significant changes to the specification of the subject of pedagogy, which is now taken by scientific pedagogical community to mean the development of life experience (including technical, scientific, experimental etc.) in the whole richness and diversity of a student’s personal interests, needs and aspirations.
