NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) was established in 1949, comprising America, Canada and other western European countries. It has been expanded many times since its establishment. NATO is such kind of military alliance which under America's leadership ruling all over the world. There is no doubt that is helped to maintain peace in Europe which resulted positively to gain stability; these countries utilized there resources for the further development. Although, the objectives of NATO have been successfully achieved, though this debate is still continue. The aim of this paper is to discuss strategic relations within the NATO, between EU and America and the need of NATO's existence. It is also considered to highlight the NATO's "out of area operations" in the sense of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Balkan.
