Abstract
In this article, this research objective is the design and implementation of healthcare mobile gaming through the gamification of monks Kaihogyo running. Major purpose of this research is the implementation of social encouragement. The target sector of this application is healthcare. People nowadays walk and exercise less than before, and do not maintain a minimum ten thousand step advised for healthy life. As a result, many diseases are developed, which could even lead to death, such as in the case of hearth attacks. In addition to that, gaming for purpose or serious gaming is a good way to motivate people to exercise. Gaming is seen as a great trigger of interest and motivation in peoples mind, duo to some psychological states that it satis- fies. The game implementation is based on the iOS platform and the Facebook graph API for the social encouragement aspect of the game. In addition to the game characteristic of the application, most of the features in any typical running app, such the map run tracking and run history are going to be implemented.
