EXPERIENCE WITH THE USE OF PROBIOTICS IN THE TREATMENT OF GASTROENTERITIS IN CALVES

Recent developments in biotechnology related to the use of probiotics in rearing cattle due to the fact that their usefulness and effectiveness of species-specific and expressed composite compound for the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. However, in practice it was felt that the monovalent (one species), probiotic preparations have an advantage over the compositional forms, due to some incompatibility and lack symbiotic effect of the latter.
