Abstract

This article considers the problem of semantic actants and the semantics of the verb to reset / reset with the main lexical meaning ‘throw from anywhere down, to cause to fall from anywhere, with anything’. Shown isocemical filling the subject position of names of several thematic classes in the structures with verb of this semantics. Provides a large illustrative material identified by the method of continuous and partial selections in fiction and non-fiction texts of the modern Russian language, which can be used in the practice of compiling dictionaries.
