THE ISSUE OF PROTECTION OF THE CONVICT'S RIGHTS BY THE PROSECUTOR

The author analyzes the relevance and effectiveness of the protection of the rights of persons who are serving time in prison by means of appealing to the prosecuting authorities. The research results in the author's stating that at present, despite the existence of various forms and methods of protecting citizens', serving sentences in places of detention, rights, such protection, implemented by prosecuting authorities, remains popular and quite effective.
