Abstract
The aim of this note is to define the total value of the Riemann integral that can be used to generalize the well-known Newton?Leibniz formula. It will be shown that such alternative way of defining the convolution integral can only be applied mathematically rigorous to behavior analysis of linear, continuous-time, time-invariant systems.
