Cloud Computing: Its Characteristics, Available Models, Potential Challenges and Future prospects

ABSTRACT Cloud Computing is an evolution in IT services delivery for the enterprise, as well as for telecom companies, hosting companies, government agencies and others. As Cloud Computing is an extensively important topic in present scenario, the study here attempts to explain the terms related to cloud computing in a brief and simple manner. This paper aims to provide a basis of understanding the cloud computing, different models available, its basic architecture, and the benefits, risks and challenges behind this technology.
