This is determined by the place of the power industry in the national economy, as well as the high socio-economic value of the state power security in today’s globalized world. The export of electrical power becomes an important aspect of the power industry sector functioning. It can be considered as a separate form of Ukrainian economy participation in global division of labor. An important place in the power industry sector occupies a nuclear power. Having analyzed the Law of Ukraine that regulates relations in the nuclear power field, we can conclude that nuclear power should be an object of power industry. There are a lot of questions on nuclear safety, the complex problems of nuclear fuel delivery and waste storage, the need for centralized management. And taking into account that this subcomplex should be cost-effective, it is necessary to adopt a separate strategy that will regulate these relationships.
