Economic and Legal Aspects of Adaptation Investment Financial Services to the EU Requirements

Problem setting. Adaptation of legislation to the norms of the EU is one of the most important components of the policy of the European choice of Ukraine and any other country that is heading the way of European integration. National programme for adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to the EU legislation defines the mechanism for advancing Ukraine’s compliance with the third Copenhagen and Madrid criteria of acquiring membership in the European Union. This mechanism involves the adaptation of legislation, creation of the respective institutions and other additional measures needed for effective lawmaking and law enforcement. Bezruchko, O. Betliy, M. Ryzhenkov, K. Kravchuk. Target of research. the objective is to adapt legislation of Ukraine to EU legislation. Article’s main body. Adaptation of legislation of Ukraine is the systematic process consisting of several consecutive stages, each of which must be attained, a certain Degree of conformity of Ukrainian legislation to the EU legislation. The stages of the legal adaptation is the implementation of the agreement on partnership and cooperation, the establishment of sectoral agreements, bringing Ukrainian legislation in line with EU standards, the establishment of a mechanism to bring projects of legislative acts of Ukraine into compliance with EU regulations. Conclusions and prospects for the development. Thus, the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to the EU legislation comes amid legal reform in Ukraine. The state should modify all the legislation of Ukraine in accordance with international principles and standards close to European Union law, Council of Europe, the Organization for security and cooperation in Europe and other European organizations.
