Abstract
Parenting has been a complex enough now a days for parents. It is time to wake up the fact and to seek help. Parents bring up their children with the best intentions as far as their knowledge goes, but sometimes it become dominating. They have a strong concern for their status and want to see their children in higher position. To this end they use strict discipline. Sometimes their socio economic status also effects. As a result the child tends to find other outlets for his aggressive impulses and not able to do well in their academic area. This paper is an attempt to find out how parenting and economic status effects students' performance.
