Abstract

The main objective of this research is to analyze and study the effect of the bit error rate (BER) of the time hopping pulse amplitude modulation (TH-PAM) UWB system by using a perfect receiver and the performance retrogradation are employed. The analysis of performance change the modulation index M by employing 2-PAM alternatively Binary PAM and simulation results show that 2-PAM. The Performance Analysis of the Multi-user system with 2PAM is carried out for six and ten interfering users and their results are compared with the same for the multi-user scenario with the binary PAM modulation. Finally, The probability of error of the ten users system is higher than that of six users because increase the number of users. The system performance degrades due to increase in the number of interfering signals at the receiver. The simulated and the theoretical values are compared to the both cases of interfering users, the probability of error measured by the simulation is higher than that theoretical predicted by the standard Gaussian approximation.
