TICK-BORNE ENCEPHALITIS IN GRODNO REGION FOR THE LAST 7 YEARS

Abstract
For the last 7 years in the Grodno region there has been established the growth of incidence of viral tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) which exceeds republican indicators. The main epidemiological features of TBE in 156 patients were: the prevalence of the transmissible mechanism of infection, involvement in the epidemic process of residents of Grodno and Grodno area (78.8%), mean age of patients 47.4±3.6 years. The clinical features of TBE included the prevalence of moderate forms such as a meningeal form (39.1%) and general infection (28.8%), increase in the number of meningoencephalites/encephalites and mixed infections (TBE+LB).
