Abstract
One of rare forms of acute bowel obstruction which is difficult to diagnose in adults is invagination . The analysis of literature regarding etiology, pathogenesis, features of clinical presentation, diagnostics and treatment of intestinal invagination has been performed. The analysis of 11 clinical cases of intestinal invagination from own practice, which required different types of surgical treatment is presented.
