DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR TEACHING DEPARTMENT

Database system has become the primary mechanism used in various areas to store and manage their important information. This system is a Static Web - based Database Management System in a Teaching Department of a University. It is based on various departmental documents of Engineering Department of Y . T . U . The basic information of the department. is organized by five pages. They are Home, Contact, Labs, Information and Database. Database page is the main entry of the departmental database system. The departmental data are mainly classified into three categories: Documents, Forms and Records according to QMS system. There are two different types of records in teaching department. Offic e records are designed by twelve months and t he teaching and learning records are designed by academic year or semester. The system is created by open source programming for user friendly access.
