Bidirectional Methodology for Effective Learning of Software Design Patterns

The benefits of Design Patterns are widely acknowledged by the software architecture and development community. Design Patterns when applied properly result in providing solutions that are built based on time-tested solutions and therefore secure. Due to wide spread categories of design patterns, learning, finding and applying a pattern remains a difficult task. In our opinion, effective learning technique improves pattern selection. The present paper describes latest trends in learning and a methodology for design patterns selection based on learning techniques.
