Abstract

Purpose. Magnetic properties of Armco-iron with improved removal of impurities and in growing large grains, so you need to search for new modes of heat exposure. The study of special boundaries in the metal of ferritic single phase structure were carried out. Also determine the effect of specific boundaries and the grain size in the magnetic properties of ferrite in (coercive force Hc) Armco-iron. Methodology. We investigated the Armco-iron with a round rental diameter of 42 mm. The samples were heated at 900 degrees in the oven and heated 1, 2, 3 hours. Conducted research metallographic structure. Performed hardness, coercivity Hc and counting the number of special grain boundaries and size. Findings. It was established that the effects of temperature and different time of exposure varies coercive force Hc. With increasing temperature influence decreases the value of the coercive force Hc, hardness and grain size increases and the relative number of special boundaries in ferrite. Originality. Annealing low-metals and alloys results in increased specific boundaries in ferrite, reducing the size and increasing the coercivity magnetic permeability. Practical value. Materials with high number of special low-energy boundaries can compete with traditional metals in electrical and magnetism.
