Big Data Analytics: A Survey

ABSTRACT In this technical and enthusiastic world, every day we come across new aspects that drag our attention to know something about it. So our enthusiasm portrays to do research on it and make a file of documentary of each and every aspect from ancient history to present and ma extend in future. Later the maintenance and reference of these documentaries used to be difficult to future research. So to solve this, Big Data came into existence. Big Data acts as a datasets whose size is beyond the ability of typical database software tools to capture, store, manage and analyze. It is a data whose scale, diversity and complexity require new architecture, techniques, algorithms and analytics to manage it and extract value and hidden knowledge from it. For Big Data to scalably implement this, Big Data has different technologies that include MPP database, the Apache Hadoop framework, the Internet and archival storage systems. Of these Hadoop plays a prominent role. Hadoop is an open source software tool used to optimize massive volume of a data for distributed processing of large datasets across large clusters of servers. This Hadoop runs based on HDFS and Map Reduce. After surveying many highly knowledge papers of many professionals, I got a brief idea of Big Data and Apache Hadoop. In this paper I shared brief concepts of Big Data and its analytics, its various definitions survey, benefits, challenges. I also gave a gist of concepts on Hadoop technology and its ecosystem components .
