THE CONTRIBUTION OF MOTIVATION AND SELF-EFFICACY ON PRE-SERVICE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS' TECHNOLOGICAL PEDAGOGICAL CONTENT KNOWLEDGE (TPCK)

Abstract
The widespread quickly of technology has necessitated the use of technology in education, as in every area education area. TPCK has been emerging at the same time and this concept has been subject to many educators. Purpose of this study is to examine the contribution of motivation and self-efficacy to the TPCK of Pre-service Primary School Teachers'. Data are gathered by applying TPCK, motivation and self-efficacy scales on 331 Pre-service Primary School Teachers. Data analyzed pearson correlation and regression analyses were used to analyze. This is a research-based study. According to the research motivation has a statistically significant contribution to the prediction of TPCK of Pre-service Primary School Teachers but self-efficacy has not a statistically significant contribution to the prediction. Adjusted R? value was 0,014 for motivation variable shows that 1.4 % of the change in Pre-service Primary School Teachers' TPCK is explained within the motivation variable.
