Abstract
This article analyzes the non-original dramatic works (staging, processing, adaptation) by Michael Starytsky from the standpoint of its interpretive practice. The evolution of the interpreted works, noted writer relationship with the authors of the originals. Considered typological similarities and differences between the works written on subjects borrowed from the original sources. The basic artistic techniques and literary principles used by the author when writing non-original works; traced artistic similarities, differences of style, perspective, substantive content of the analyzed products. From the viewpoint of intertextuality studied original works and processing.
