Abstract
In this article approaches to investigating the creative potential of language in the sphere of the child speech are considered, concepts of the linguistic identity, linguistic view of the world of children are revealed. The main linguistic tools forming the basis of linguo-creative activity of the children, caused by specifics of their cognitive development, are described. The children's innovations implementing the word-creation potential of the linguistic identity of children are analyzed.
