Song as an effective component of foreign language learning process at a beginner level at higher education institutions

The article highlights the practicability of using songs at a beginner level of foreign competence at higher education institutions. The special attention has been given to such factors that optimize the learning process through song as creating the psychological comfort, the success situation, learning in a team or through it. The study analyses the peculiarities of memorizing textual information through interaction using song via the structural and functional method, and stresses the necessity to synthesize the communicative approach and the traditional structural and functional one to optimize the foreign language learning process.
