Abstract

The analysis of various methodological frameworks of research of professional self-identity at teachers of higher education is presented in this article. The main methodological difficulties in studying of the professional self-identity and possible ways of their solution are specified. Application of basic psychological theories for research of various elements of the professional self-identity is described.
