THE DYNAMICS OF CARGO DISPATCH BY WATER IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IN 2013-2016

In the article, the factors forming the trend of cargo dispatch by sea and inland water transport are considered. This article is aimed at the analysis of the state of cargo traffic of inland water and sea transport of the Russian Federation in 2013-2016. In the article, the following goals are achieved: detecting cargo volume and its modeling, making hypotheses on sharp decline of cargo volume dispatched by sea in foreign navigation, considering the positive and negative aspects of the forecasting method applied – extrapolation. The novelty of this article is creation of the relationship model of cargo volume and seasons, and the analysis of political and economic situation of the crucial period.
