Development of high school studentls life competency by means of the Waldorf education

The article analyzes the definition of «competence», «competency», «life competency», their components and stages of development. The peculiarities of high school students life competency development are given. It is analyzed Waldorf pedagogy as a mean of influence on the development of high school students life competency. It is proved that the Waldorf education creates favorable conditions for the harmonious comprehensive development of the high school students, promotes formation of social communicative skills and active life position, develops high school students life competency.
