In the review, a collection of scientific articles by I. O. Karelina "Child's emotional sphere as an object of psychological researches" is analyzed. The author of the book presents the results of the author's empirical survey and analytical researches on the study of different components of preschoolers' emotional sphere. The developmental peculiarities of awareness of their own emotions by preschool children are revealed as well as the peculiarities of children's vocabulary of emotions, emotion recognition and emotion understanding of others, emotion regulation and preschoolers' emotional attitude toward peers and kindergarten teachers
