The article analyzes the problem of training in management education in modern psychological and pedagogical literature. The profound social and economic changes that have taken place on the verge of the third millennium in Ukraine led to a review of research in management, an appeal to the international experience of countries that are in the market and have gained tremendous knowledge management. Analysis of training in management education in terms of its coverage of scientific refinement allows to identify problems and inconsistencies on the problem, see the rational achievements. The article aim is to analyze the problems of training in management education in modern psychological and pedagogical literature. Main aspects of training in management education have been grounded: professional competence of managers of the educational sector, the management of educational systems and the quality of educational services in the field of education in foreign countries, historical and educational problems of vocational training of managers and education. The analysis of the problem of professional competence of managers of the educational sector capacity as qualified to act to perform the task. The attention is focused on the ability of the head to effectively implement management activities in education based on fundamental economic, educational and psychological knowledge, skills and personal qualities for effective development organization (institution) in a competitive market. Significant is the problem of management of educational systems and the quality of educational services as key components of managerial activities in education. It has been emphasized that of particular interest are the studies on the training of education managers and administrators in education in foreign countries. The increased interest of scientists to the problem of management of higher education institutions, the need for an objective understanding of the historical experience of higher education institutions to develop scientific principles of management based on creative use of the heritage of the past determine the appeal to historical and pedagogical aspects of a system of training of education managers.
