THE IMPLEMENTATION OF EXPERIENCE OF MORAL EDUCATION EXPERIENCE IN CONTEMPORARY SCHOOL (ON THE BASIS OF PEDAGOGICAL PERIODICALS IN TRANSCARPATHIAN REGION 1920-1930-s)

Abstract

This article emphasizes the idea of the Fund of national cultural values, which was formed on the established moral norms, and the main purpose of which was to create the ability of highly moral people for self-realization, which is the main lever of modern progress. The analyzed period in Transcarpathian region, 20-30 years of the twentieth century, was characterized by progressive step from authoritarian education to democratic education, by neglection of human-centred guidlines, ideas of Christian humanism and so on. A vivid example was the moral education of children and young people, as this region was at the crossroads of different western and eastern cultures, which in turn, created a mental feature of the local population, that absorbed the best achievements of moral and spiritual past : love, beauty, tolerance, compassion and justice. Fundamental role in the educational work of the school is the principle of education and training, namely scientific, individual approach, the connection between theory and practice, clarity, ethnization, cultural and natural correspondence, humanism, historicism, aesthetics, emotionality, biographic accordance. In the high school were used principles of teaching, educational objectives and requirements for professional training of teachers; psychological and pedagogical special aspects of subjects perception by pupils of a certain age group and so on. Special attention is paid to the principles of the educational process, implementation of which is updated using historical experience. The role of teachers in the moral education of students applying historical methodology. Important methods of educational process included: conducting classes using theatrical techniques that revealed students' self-cognitive educational activity; activities related to the calendar (creation of school posters, preparation and holding of parties, festivals, excursions in places of fighting and remarkable events in the history, collecting exhibits for the museum, excursions in the school museum, recording the memories of combatants, the creation of manuscripts of memory or folklore on relevant topics, correspondence with people related to the events, etc.); museum education that encourages the formation of patriotic youth. Therefore, the use of historical experience in the educational process influences the formation of Christian spiritual values and human spirituality in modern Ukrainian reality.
