INFLUENCE OF CURRENT GLOBALIZATION TRENDS ON TRAINING OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS IN THE USA

Abstract

Influences of current globalization trends on training of the future specialists in international business in the USA have been characterised. Globalization is defined as "... a set of phenomena geo-economic, geo-political, humanitarian, civil, cultural, informational levels, keynote of which is the unification of the productive capacity of mankind. Globalization is expanding cultural and information contacts between peoples and states in the management, production, trade, labor markets, political entities. Characteristic features of globalization in education is the unification of knowledge, common aspiration of the world to achieve high academic results in education The challenges of globalization and international integration processes in education and the economy, current trends in international business significantly influenced the training of future specialists in international business in the USA. Priority lines of business are: education modernization on conceptual, legal and regulatory, managerial, organizational, semantic, procedural and methodological levels have been analysed. The leading approaches and methods of training of the future specialists in international business have been highlighted. The training of future specialists in international business in higher educational institutions in the USA is based on different pedagogical approaches, including: the traditional approach to teaching «Chalk and Talk» (teaching through lectures), professional approach «Proficiency Approach» (enabling students to realize the acquired professional skills), problem-based approach «Peakonomics» (the use of problematic situations in teaching basic economic concepts in order to achieve peak economic literacy), written approach «writing intensive» (integrating the curriculum in economics extensive written works in order to attract students to the scrutinized material) motivational approach «ARCS» (optimization elements motivation to improve the impact of teaching). The leading methods of training of the future specialists in international business in the USA are the use of educational games and models, increasing the role of written assignments, learning economy through non educational literature (fiction, speeches of Nobel laureates, periodicals), cooperative and active learning. The main trends of higher economic education in the USA indicate the increasing importance of economic literacy in American society, as well as increased demand for qualified specialists in economics and international business in the USA.
