ON THE CONCEPT OF LIE IN PHRASEOLOGICA LUNITS OF RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH "A LIE FOR THE GOOD" AND "A WHITE LIE" IN REFLECTION OF LITERATURE

The article is devoted to the study of phraseology. Idioms as a subject of study objectify the concept of “lie” – it is a research object. It is capable to express assessment. Lie is studied on the example of the Russian phraseological unit "a lie for the good" and his English equivalent "a white lie". The volume of these units value is studied on the example of the modern Russian and the English literature works, which are research material. The studied examples allow to say that the concept "lie" plays an important role in life of both English-speaking, and Russian-speaking people
