ANALYSIS OF ACTIVITY OF BANKING ASSOCIATIONS CREATED ON NON-PROFIT BASIS

The article determines that the objects of banking infrastructure include associations and unions that are created on a nonprofit basis. It is established that the mission of such banking associations is mainly to facilitate the construction of a stable financial system and to solve problems for increasing the profitability of the banking business. The basic tasks of banking associations and unions are determined and analyzed. It was established that the activities of such associations are aimed primarily at protecting the interests of banks, making proposals for changes to the legislation in the field of banking, coordinating the efforts of members of associations in the field of legal relations. Despite the fact that the tasks of domestic associations include those that provide certain types of informational, analytical and educational activities, the author's monitoring and comparative analysis of their main species shows an insufficient level and pace of development. Analysis of the tasks of the leading banking associations of Ukraine and Poland suggests that the information and analytical components of the above-mentioned tasks are much more advanced in the Republic of Poland. The author also considers it expedient to pay more attention to the training of banking staff and the dissemination of specialist knowledge from domestic banking associations.
