Abstract

This article deals with the studying of the I. Brodsky's poetic diction based on the analysis of the personification method with the appeal in the whole poem. The modern philology has to solve a problem of the description of poetic diction and studying of the poetic text. According to V.V. Vinogradov, language of the fiction has to be investigated not only in application to more difficult, secondary formations of the poetic world (image, symbols, etc.), but also according to the internal structure: “In a contemporary context the comprehension of the individual poetic diction originality as the closed system of language means can be especially sharp”. In the poet's individual style the genre of letter / message is used, and the poet applies the personification of the inanimate objects to express the ideological and emotional direction of the works. Methods of use of personification with the appeal are analysed on the basis of poems "Letters to the Wall", "To the Verses"
