USAGE OF MEDICINE OF SOY AND AVOCADO AT WOMEN IN THE MENOPAUSE PERIOD WITH OSTEOARTHROSIS OF THE KNEE AND METABOLIC SYNDROME

Osteoarthrosis (OA ) is the most widespread arthral pathology. More than 10 % of the world popula- tion have this disease. Development of OA is influenced also by the metabolic syndrome (MS). The combination of MS and OA creates overload conditions for functioning of axial joi nts that is one of the main reasons for premature disa- blement and population invalidization. Treatment of OA associated with MS is difficult. Therapy with usage of cartilage protectors and non - steroid anti - inflammatory drugs (NSAID) is applied to achieveme nt of resistant treatment result. The treatment of 60 women in the menopausal period with MS and OA is carried out. It was revealed that in the group of patients, who get complex treatment with medicine of soy and avocado along with NSAID, we can see the e xpressed stabile effect of pain management, reduction of expressiveness degree of inflammatory reactions and also increase in joint mobility, than in group of the patients taking cartilage protectors and NSAID.
