In modern world, the importance of state sovereignty is widely recognized. Nevertheless, there are such challenges as development of information technologies, evolution of globalization and existence of financial crisis in the world economy. They underlie the necessity of reassessment of contemporary approaches to state sovereignty for the purpose of defining the most appropriate to the realty that is existing. Such reassessment is also required in the area of counteraction financial criminality that is rising in modern world.
