COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE INTERPRETATION OF PERSONALITY ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI IN PHILOSOPHICAL AND LITERARY STUDIES IN KYIV UNIVERSITY IN THE END OF THE 19TH – IN THE BEGINNING OF THE 20TH CENTURIES

At first the personality St. Francis of Assisi in philosophy and literary criticism of representatives of Kyiv School is analyzed. The letters by Panteleymon Kulish are also taken into account. The study emphasizes that philosophical methodology is used for the analysis of literary works. The European context is investigational; the analysis of textual criticism is conducted. The research is carried out by the comparative method.
