TELEOLOGY PRINCIPLE IN «HISTORY OF UKRAINE-RUS» BY MIKHAIL GRUSHEVSKY

It is investigated principle of teleology as one of the main methodological approaches which M. Grushevsky's used in «History of Ukraine-Rus». It is found out the sources of this principle in M. Grushevsky's creativity and his place in system of Methodology of positivism. Defined that Contents which were put by the outstanding historian in understanding of the purpose of historical process in Ukraine from prehistory times to the Cossacks. Formation of this purpose and methods of its realization is analyzed the chronology of process offered by M. Grushevsky. Defined structure of the purpose of national history and methodological value of its separate components.
