Abstract

The article deals with the impact of the processes of working out and working on the processes of natural degassing of coal seams. Both the natural parameters of coal and host rocks affecting the movement of gas in the massif and gas-intake caused by mining operations and accompanying deformation of the massif are analyzed. It is shown that gas flow can occur through the gas supply channels formed by cracks and there is a connection between the natural degassing and the porosity index of coal seams and host rocks. Introduction of this degassing coal seams method can be used in design solutions.
