THE FUNCTION OF LOANWORDS IN JAPANESE TEXTS OF TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS

The article analyses the functions of loanwords in the Japanese technical texts. For this, technical texts in Japanese were disassembled and borrowed vocabulary was revealed in them, the percentage ratio of borrowed words in relation to the rest of the vocabulary was determined. The study revealed that borrowings in Japanese scientific and technical instruction are mostly special terms, and 100% of this terminology is borrowed from English, without taking borrowing from Chinese (Kango), since they are already firmly established in the vocab- ulary Japanese language
