Prolonged overstrain of the masticatory muscles leads to an asynchronous contraction of them. If you do not resort to treatment, this can lead to serious consequences. Particular attention is paid to the use of myogymnastics as a method of inexpensive and effective treatment. Exercises should be included in the complex treatment of this pathology, as a supplement to the main. We analyzed foreign and Russian literature, the authors of which offer their various myogymnastic exercises to achieve a better and quicker result of treatment. Our goal was to achieve improvements in indices of treatment people with this pathology. It is known that many students in medical institutions are exposed to severe stress during studying. We have offered students suffering from bruxism to use a set of myogymnastic exercises to achieve improvement in their well-being. The article describes the performance of the study on the effectiveness of three groups of patients, consisting of students of the Ryazan State Medical University. Dates of the study: from February 28, 2018 to March 28, 2018. Data of examination, interview, occlusiograms and revealing facets of erasure were taken into account. We suggested applying exercises that different authors offer, like V.A. Khvatova, M.N. Puzin, M. Rocabado and others. They are aimed at restoring harmonious muscle contraction, increasing the mobility of the lower jaw. The results of the study showed that for all students who received comprehensive treatment, subjective and objective indicators improved. These patients noted that during the study period, teeth grinding, clenching them under stress decreased, as students began to pay attention to the position of the dentition and control the emerging parafunction. The patients report on the performance of the exercises suggests that there is no immediate improvement in symptoms. But after 1-2 weeks, success is noticeable. At the same time, the more pronounced the symptoms of the disease, the more noticeable for the patients the effect of myogymnastics.
