THE USE OF INTERNET WEBSITES IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNICAL STUDENTS IN DISTANCE EDUCATION

The article deals with the problem of the effectiveness of information technology in foreign languages teaching. The benefits of electronic learning are demonstrated, and also some disadvantages are revealed. Author focuses on expan-ding opportunities to introduce much more theoretical material than usually in traditional classes, changing the paradigm of relations between participants of educational process. Methods and peculiarities of websites use, which are one of the easiest and most powerful means of forming foreign language professional competence in distance education is elucidated.
