The Effect of CG Tree Shade on Indoor Space Appraisals

In recent years, the healing effect of forest bathing has been verified. In this research we selected tree shade as a factor constituting the light environment of the forest, and clarified how the CG tree shade animation with the shading features impresses people. Based on the result of the impression evaluation experiment, two principal components occupying about 92% of the whole were detected. It was found that the generated CG tree shade mainly gives two impressions to people, healed impression and calm impression. The results of two-way analysis of variance showed that people's impression could be manipulated by adjusting wind speed and sunlight angle of the model.
