The main advantage of the information and analytical structures, a division of research libraries at the national level, as compared with other information bodies dealing with information support of public authorities, is its quick access to large volumes of diverse information. Information product prepared by library departments, always will allow authorities to determine the causes and best solutions to any problematic situations. Informational and analytical activity of libraries is an important direction of library institutions which is linked to processing, storage and dissemination of information mainly in the administrative sphere. The main task of the library when interacting with government and management is providing information support of the most appropriate management decisions in the field of political, economic, social adjustment problems, the life of state organizations and representatives of public authorities that gives them not only the information they need, but also «new knowledge».
