Archive Records of the Institute of Geography of National Academy of Science of Ukraine: Specifics on Data Gathering and Information Completeness

The article investigates the structure and composition of the archival records of the Institute of Geography of NAS of Ukraine, the peculiarities and the chronological sequence of the creation of the archival records. The purpose of the research was to analyze how informative are archival records in providing the data on main areas of geographical research performed by NAS of Ukraine. Secondly, we aimed to study the process of organizing activities of the Institute of Geography of NAS of Ukraine. Another objective was to summarize the results of the scientific work of outstanding scientists of this Institute.
